Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Plans
Folio offers paid subscription plans (Standard and Pro) billed on an annual basis. By subscribing to a plan, you agree to the billing terms outlined at the time of purchase.
2. Free Trial
If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- You will retain access to paid features until your current period expires
- Your portfolio data will be preserved for 30 days after expiration, after which it may be deleted
4. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 7 days, you may request a full refund by contacting our support team.
After the 7-day period:
- Subscription fees are non-refundable
- Partial refunds for unused time are not provided
- Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
5. Refund Exceptions
Refunds outside the 7-day window may be considered in the following circumstances:
- You were charged in error due to a technical issue
- A duplicate payment was processed
- The Service experienced significant downtime that materially affected your use
All exception-based refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@foliomaker.io with your account email and the reason for your request. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.
7. Plan Changes
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle, and no partial credit is issued for the remaining time on the current plan.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
